- A request to inspect a Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos recording must be made using the City of Henderson Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos Public Records Request. Requests must be made on a per incident basis. Completed Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos Public Records Request Forms may be submitted either in-person, via email, or standard mail, to the Henderson Police Department Public Information Unit. Specific instructions on the process for requesting Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos recordings are contained on the Request Form or by submitting a request, below using Contact Henderson.
There is no cost to inspect a Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos but we recommend you inspect the Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos before you purchase. However, it is not required. You will be responsible for all costs for redactions if a request for a copy is made without inspection. Fees cover the time required to review and redact records in accordance with Nevada law (NRS 289.025 and NRS 239B.030). The cost of the MAV will vary, depending on the redactions, number of Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos associated with the incident and the length of the footage.

If you do need to submit a records request, please allow processing time of up to five working days from the date of request. Electronic requests and file copies provided electronically are generally processed much faster. Printed copies are 10 cents per page (20 cents per page for 11x17 copies). Larger documents may require use of an FTP site or provision of the documents on a compact disc ($1 per disc). More extensive requests may also necessitate a $31.50 per hour research fee.
Please note that many “older†files are on microfilm, which can be printed or converted to electronic/PDF files for a fee of 10 cents per page, again with the hourly fee for large projects.
