In many cases Incident
Reports are available for public dissemination as long as the case is no longer
under investigation. Please complete a Contact Henderson case submission and
include the report number. If you submitted your report online, you will
receive a copy of the report via email (upon approval).
Traffic accident reports are available for public dissemination as long as the case is no longer under investigation. Copies of accident reports which are no longer under investigation can be obtained online, for free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at http://www.crashdocs.org/.

- A request to inspect a Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos recording must be made using the City of Henderson Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos Public Records Request. Requests must be made on a per incident basis. Completed Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos Public Records Request Forms may be submitted either in-person, via email, or standard mail, to the Henderson Police Department Public Information Unit. Specific instructions on the process for requesting Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos recordings are contained on the Request Form or by submitting a request, below using Contact Henderson.
There is no cost to inspect a Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos but we recommend you inspect the Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos before you purchase. However, it is not required. You will be responsible for all costs for redactions if a request for a copy is made without inspection. You will only pay for the redaction of the officers faces which are considered confidential pursuant to NRS 289.025. The cost of the MAV will vary, depending on the redactions, number of Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos associated with the incident and the length of the footage.
Due to technical issues in preparing a Dash Cam or Body Worn Camera Videos or Photos recording for inspection and the availability of City personnel to monitor the inspection, requests for inspection may not be available within 5 business days. Notwithstanding, the City will use its best efforts to grant a requestor the right to inspect a recording that is a public record within 5 days.

For a copy of an animal control activity, you can go directly to the Henderson Animal Shelter located at 300 E. Galleria Drive (Galleria & Boulder Hwy) and fill out a written request or follow the prompts below on contact Henderson.
You will be required to have the activity number and/or address of the location you are requesting the records in order for your request to be processed. You must provide either the Animal Control Activity number or the DR# (if applicable). You may need to provide the Animal identification number as well. The date and address may be required to find the information requested. Please submit all applicable information when filing your records request.

If you do need to submit a records request, please allow processing time of up to five working days from the date of request. Electronic requests and file copies provided electronically are generally processed much faster. Printed copies are 10 cents per page (20 cents per page for 11x17 copies). Larger documents may require use of an FTP site or provision of the documents on a compact disc ($1 per disc). More extensive requests may also necessitate a $31.50 per hour research fee.
Please note that many “older†files are on microfilm, which can be printed or converted to electronic/PDF files for a fee of 10 cents per page, again with the hourly fee for large projects.
