- Per NRS239C210-240, and City of Henderson Records Operating Procedures and Directives (ROP-010 and Records Directive 007), Water, Stormwater, and Sewer Atlases containing sensitive infrastructure information are considered to be restricted documents. Copies of these documents may only be provided to individuals meeting one or more of the following criteria:
- With a lawful order of a court of competent jurisdiction;
- As is reasonably necessary in the case of an act of terrorism or other related emergency;
- To protect the rights and obligations of a governmental entity or the public;
- Upon the request of a reporter or editorial employee who is employed by or affiliated with a newpaper, press association or commercially operated and federally licensed radio or television station and who uses the restricted document in the course of such employment of affiliation; or
- Upon the request of a registered architect, licensed contractor or a designated employee or any such architect or contractor who uses the restricted document in his professional capacity.
If you do meet one or more of the listed criteria, you will need to provide the following items prior to being issued a copy of an Atlas: Driver's license/government identification, your name, the name of your employer, and the purpose for the inspection. If you do not meet one or more of the criteria, you may view the documents, but you may not reproduce/copy them.

- The Office of the City Clerk offers a full service Passport Application Acceptance Program. We accept passport applications Monday-Thursday, Doors open at 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
- To apply for a U.S. passport book or card, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen either by birth or naturalization.
- Applicants need to submit 1.) an original or certified copy of proof of citizenship and 2.) a copy of that citizenship along with their completed passport application.
- Applicants must provide a passport picture for every application, and show valid photo identification. Passport photo service is available at the Office of the City Clerk.
- All applications for children under age 16 require both parents or legal guardians consent. The minor MUST appear in person.
- For security reasons, parental consent may be requested for children ages 16 or 17. If a child does not have identification of his/her own, a parent needs to accompany their child, present identification, and co-sign the application. The minor MUST appear in person.
- You will need to appear in person, if applying for a U.S. passport book for the first time; if your expired U.S. passport is not in your possession; if your previous U.S. passport has expired and was issued more than 15 years ago; if your previous U.S. passport was issued when you were under age 16; or if your currently valid U.S. passport has been lost or stolen.

- Nevada Revised Statutes 237 requires a municipality to perform an analysis of the impact and prepare for record a business impact statement when considering a new ordinance, or amending an old ordinance, which is likely to impose a direct and significant economic burden on a business. The analysis requires, in part, sending copies of the proposed ordinance amendment to specifically affected businesses, to trade unions, to the Chamber of Commerce, in such a way as to give notice to the businesses that might be affected.
If a business believes that (1) the City failed to prepare a business impact statement as required pursuant to NRS 237 or (2) the business impact statement prepared by the City did not consider or significantly underestimated the economic effect of the ordinance on the particular business, the business may object to all or a part of the ordinance by filing a written petition with the City Clerk within thirty (30) calendar days following approval of the subject ordinance by the City Council. There are no additional grounds upon which a business may object to an ordinance under this Chapter.

- Nevada Revised Statutes 237 requires a municipality to perform an analysis of the impact and prepare for record a business impact statement when considering a new ordinance, or amending an old ordinance, which is likely to impose a direct and significant economic burden on a business. The analysis requires, in part, sending copies of the proposed ordinance amendment to specifically affected businesses, to trade unions, to the Chamber of Commerce, in such a way as to give notice to the businesses that might be affected.
If a business believes that (1) the City failed to prepare a business impact statement as required pursuant to NRS 237 or (2) the business impact statement prepared by the City did not consider or significantly underestimated the economic effect of the ordinance on the particular business, the business may object to all or a part of the ordinance by filing a written petition with the City Clerk within thirty (30) calendar days following approval of the subject ordinance by the City Council. There are no additional grounds upon which a business may object to an ordinance under this Chapter.
