City Council Meetings: How do I request an Interpreter or Communication Services for Public Meetings or Programs?

The City of Henderson is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and is dedicated to providing equal access to all city-sponsored programs, services and activities for citizens with disabilities.

City Council and Redevelopment Agency meetings are held in the Council Chambers. If you need an accommodation to attend or participate in this meeting, arrangements for a sign language interpreter or services necessary for effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities should be made as soon as possible, but no later than 72 hours before the scheduled event. Listening devices are available for persons with hearing impairments.

Please contact the City Clerk's Office at (702) 267-1400 or TTY: 7-1-1, at least 72 hours in advance to request a sign language interpreter for City Council and Redevelopment Agency meetings. You may also submit your request using the Contact Henderson icon.
