Who Can Obtain: Fund raising organizations who intend to raise money by holding Bingo games, Games of Chance, and in some cases Raffles, must apply for an identification number issued through the NYS Office of Racing and Wagering. All organizations must have an identification number. If your organization needs a number or has not used its number in the previous twelve-month period, you must update your information with Racing and Wagering:

It takes approximately four weeks to receive an identification number.
When to Obtain:
Raffles/Games of Chance/Bell Jar If you intend to conduct raffles and your proceeds will be greater than $30,000 in one year, you must file an application for a Raffle. The license fee is $25.00. Please contact the Town Clerk's office for further instruction.
If your organization is conducting Games of Chance (Casino Nights, Bazaars, Carnivals), etc., you must provide the following:
Provide three complete applications (Form GC-2) for each license. Forms available at www.racing.state.ny.us. It is wise to keep a copy for yourself. The head of the organization must sign three original applications, which must all be notarized.
Provide a current list of working members and their date of birth. To expedite processing, please only submit names of those that will be working at the events.
Gaming Laws require that there must be at least four (4) members in charge. When providing this information, keep in mind that anyone convicted of a crime cannot be listed on the application.

Prior to conducting Bingo games, the organization should submit three (3) original Bingo License Applications, including all schedules, with a check in the amount of $18.75 per occasion, to the Town Clerk's Office. Once your application has been approved, you will be notified by the Town. Please submit applications at least four weeks in advance.

No person shall engage in the business of receiving, collecting or transporting residential and/or commercial refuse or recyclable materials in the Town of Greece without first obtaining an annual license to conduct such business. License period runs from August 1 – July 31. License will be issued by the Town of Greece upon completion of the application process and the payment of fees for such license as established by the Town Board. Nothing herein contained, however, shall be construed to prevent any person from transporting for the purpose of disposal such refuse, bulky refuse, yard waste or recyclable materials as is normally generated by such person on his own premises or in his own business. •Hunters wishing to bow hunt must take an additional bow hunter education course.

•To replace a lost license you may contact any license issuing agent, a $5.00 fee for each license will be charged. •To replace a lost tag, go to any license issuing agent. This includes a lost big game carcass tag set. •Lost turkey permits may be replaced by any license issuing agent. License Responsibilities:
•Licenses are not transferable and may be used only by the person to whom issued. Deer Management Permits are now transferable. •It is not legal to possess another person's license while hunting, unless accompanied by the person to whom issued. •A license to hunt, trap or fish does not give the holder any right to go on private property without permission of the land owner. •Back tags must be visibly displayed on the middle of your back while hunting except in the Northern Zone and Catskill Park. License application If the dog is spayed or neutered, a certificate from a licensed veterinarian or an affidavit from the owner showing that the dog has been spayed or neutered. This proof only has to be provided once. All dogs four months or older must have proof of a rabies vaccination signed by a licensed veterinarian or a certificate stating why the life of the dog would be endangered by the vaccine. For guide dogs, war dogs, hearing dogs, police dogs or service dogs, satisfactory proof is required, such as a training certificate. Dogs engaged in these services need to be currently licensed for their trained purpose at the time of licensing.
