Empty sandbags (a limit of ten per household) can be picked up free of charge at Support Services, 486 Gibson Rd., during normal business hours (Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
It is best to have sand bags on hand prior to an emergency. In most cases, individuals must provide their own sand. If the city has sand available, locations will be identified via the media and this web site.
