Incentives of Renewable Energy Sources: What programs or incentives are available to encourage the use of renewable energy sources (i.e., solar, wind, geothermal) in the City of Henderson?

The City of Henderson is considering a financial assistance program to help residents purchase and install photovoltaic (PV) solar systems on their existing homes. A pilot program based on the City's existing Homeowner Assistance Program is expected to kick-off soon. Plans call for the program to eventually be expanded citywide. Energy Rebates: What financial assistance is available to help me save energy?

At the local level, NV Energy offers rebates to purchase renewable energy products such as solar panels, wind turbines, and solar water heaters.

The federal government also offers rebates as well as tax credits. Visit
