The intake process starts upon arrival at the Henderson Detention Center.
1) The inmate's property is removed, inventoried, and placed in a secure room until released;
2) the inmate is seen by a Registered Nurse to determine medical conditions;
3) the inmate is fingerprinted and photographed;
4) the inmate changes into inmate uniforms and is given hygiene items and bedding;
5) the inmate is allowed free phone calls from the booking area.
