Bidders List: How do I get on the approved Public Works bidders list?

At the January 18, 2005 meeting of the City Council, the City of Henderson adopted the Nevada State Public Works Board list of Qualified Bidders, pursuant to the provisions of NRS 338.1382. This applies only to general contractors interested in bidding on the on-site public works construction projects of the City of Henderson that exceed $100,000 in the estimated cost of construction. An on-site public works project includes any building, park, or other non-right-of-way construction project, but excludes off-site improvements such as right-of-way, flood control, traffic control and other similar projects. If a Federally funded project prohibits such qualification, it shall also be excluded.

You can verify your status on the State Public Works Board Qualified Bidders List or go to the State Public Works Board Qualified Bidders website.

To download applications and information to become a Qualified Bidder, go to the State Public Works Board Qualified Bidders website. Applications for Bidder Qualification must be sent to the State Public Works Board only.
