Water Service Line Insurance: We heard you! Henderson customers have asked for optional protection plans to help with unexpected repair costs for privately owned water and sewer lines.
As a homeowner, you are responsible for maintaining certain water and sewer lines that serve your property. In most residential areas, the City maintains the water line up to the water meter, which is typically located near the sidewalk or front of the property. Any leaks or repairs needed on the customer side of the meter, between the meter and the home, are the responsibility of the property owner.
