In many of Henderson’s subdivisions and master plans, common landscaping is required by the Zoning Ordinance and must be properly maintained at all times. Removal of required landscaping can only be done after either Planning Commission approval of a Variance or City Council approval of an amendment to the master plan or original subdivision approvals. It’s best to contact the Community Development Department to find your specific neighborhood’s requirements.
