Pet adoptions: Where can I go to adopt? How much does it cost? How do I look up animals available for adoption?

You can go to PetHarbor website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to see what animals are available for adoption from the Henderson Animal Care and Control Facility.

Adoption Fees:
Kittens (6 months and younger) $100.00
Cats (7 months and older) $85.00
Puppies (6 months and younger) $150.00
Small Breed dogs (6 months and older) $125.00
Medium/Large Breed dogs (6 months and older) $100.00

Ferrets.............$100.00
Rabbits.............$40.00
Guinea Pigs......$10.00
Other Pets.........Call for a price

These fees include the routine vaccines, spay or neuter surgery, if not already done, microchip ID and registration, and a Rabies tag or Henderson License (depending on where you live).

We accept cash, debit and most credit cards excluding "American Express."

Animal Shelter hours of operation are from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Saturday. Please note that our adoption kennels close at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sunday and all Municipal holidays.
