Homelessness: What resources are available for people experiencing homelessness?
HopeLink is a Family Resource Center that is
available to all Henderson residents. This non-profit organization assists with
housing and basic needs, including shelter, food, clothing, rental assistance,
utility bill assistance, health care, and car repair. Other services offered
for family preservation include children literacy, supporting parents with
basic needs, and assessing the overall family’s needs HELP of Southern Nevada is a non-profit organization that assists families and individuals throughout Southern Nevada to overcome barriers and attain self-sufficiency through direct services, training and referral to community resources. All homeless households without children must complete a standard assessment survey at Clark County Social Services prior to receiving services from HELP of Southern Nevada. There is a Henderson office located at 522 E Lake Mead Pkwy, Suite 4, Henderson, NV 89015. HELP is unable to provide services without this assessment.
