Water/Sewer Service: How do I start, stop, or transfer residential water/sewer service?

You may request to start, stop, or transfer residential water and sewer utility service in one of two ways:

  • Online: Visit the City of Henderson Utilities Customer Portal. You can either select Start New Water/Sewer Service from the homepage, or log in to your existing account and use the Service Requests tab on the left-hand menu.

  • By Phone: Call our Customer Care Center at (702) 267-5900, Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Federal Red Flag regulations require positive identity verification for all new service requests. To complete this, the City of Henderson uses Experian to verify the information you provide. This process involves a soft credit check, which is used only to confirm your identity and does not affect your credit score.
