What is the Traffic Advisory Council?



The Traffic Advisory Committee is an advisory board to the Town Board, therefore it is not an open meeting for the public. The role of the committee is to review any new requests for signage in the town. The requests are to be submitted in writing to the Department of Public Works, 647 Long Pond Road, 14612, Attention Traffic Advisory Committee. The committee also review site plans and provides comments to the Planning Board.

The members of the committee are:
Town of Greece Chief Engineer
Commissioner of Public Works
Chief of Police
Monroe County Director of Transportation
Three citizen members who are appointed by the Town Board for three year terms.
