FAQ

Who are the children in foster care?

Foster children range in age from infancy to late teens. Their backgrounds cross all ethnic and economic lines and most have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Foster homes are especially needed for teenagers, sibling sets, teen mothers and their babies, and children with special medical educational, behavioral, and/or emotional challenges. Additionally, Hispanic, Vietnamese and African-American foster families are in great demand.
