Financial assistance is available to families who adopt a child through our Agency through the Adoption Assistance Program (AAP). AAP funds may continue until the child reaches 18 years of age. In some cases, however, a child may remain eligible for financial assistance until the age of 21 years. In addition, the federal government may provide tax incentives to help adoptive families with the cost of adoption (please consult your tax advisor).
